Lake Sebu is a municipality in the province of South Cotabato. It is famous for its 3 beautiful lakes and 7 gorgeous waterfalls all set in a perfect and unadulterated environment in the home of the T’boli people.
To get here, fly to General Santos City. From General Santos Integrated Bus Terminal, take a van direct to Lake Sebu but they are only available in the morning and very limited vans are available. Otherwise, take a bus to Marbel or Koronadal (note that Marbel and Koronadal are one and the same) and get off at the bus terminal. From the bus terminal in Marbel, take a tricycle to transfer you to the van terminal going to Lake Sebu. If there are no available vans going to Lake Sebu, take the one going to Surallah and tell the driver to load you off at the junction going to Lake Sebu or get off at Surallah terminal. From there, take a jeep or motot bike to Lake Sebu.
There are several fun things to do in Lake Sebu and the 7 falls zipline is the most recommended thing to do.
Check out my video teaser of the waterfalls.
