This is Malatan-og Falls in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental. Malatan-og Falls is kept within the lush forest in this very beautiful town. Trek time going to the falls from the main highway is about an hour . When visiting the falls, be careful of snakes on your way down! My habal habal driver did not mention anything about it when we trekked down the falls. He only told me about it when we saw several. According to the locals we met on our way back, indeed there are lots of snakes in the area, the reason why not many locals would go to the falls. Scary pala or nananakot lang?
