Bay, Laguna – The century old Church of St Agustine in Bay was initially built in 1804 and was completed in 1864.  It was partially destroyed during WWII and was rebuilt in 1953. The church has early renaissance facade and a 4-storey bell tower.

Liliw, Laguna – The century old Church of Saint John the Baptist in Liliw was built in 1605 and was partially damaged by a strong earthquake in 1880. The church has elegant facade and brick baroque style structure.

Calamba, Laguna – The century old Church of Saint John the Baptist in Calamba was built in 1779. Its altar was burned in 1862 but was immediately rebuilt.  The church is famous because Dr. Jose Rizal, the Philippine National hero, was baptized here in 1961.

Lumban, Laguna – The century old Church of San Sebastian in Lumban was first built in 1578 but the current structure was built in 1600. It is the first stone church built in Laguna and outside Manila.

Magdalena, Laguna – The century old Church of Mary Magdalene in Magdalena was built in 1855. This massive structure is made of bricks and stones. It is made more famous as National Hero Emilio Aguinaldo took refuge here. His blood stains, located in one corner of the church, is preserved.

Nagcarlan, Laguna – The century old Church of St Bartholomew the Apostle in Nagcarlan was built in 1752. The church is baroque and has a semi circular arch entrance.

Paete, Laguna – The century old Church of St James The Apostle in Paete was built in 1846. It has  a magnificent baroque style architecture and houses hand paintings of local Paeteños. It is one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen.

Pagsanjan, Laguna – The century old Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Pagsanjan was built in 1690. It has a 3-level facade with a semi circular arch entrance.

Pila, Laguna – The century old Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Anthony De Padua in Pila was built in 1681. It is the first church in the Philippines dedicated to St. Anthony De Padua. Pila is a heritage town.
